Castle Rock Hostel is an awesome example of old Edinburgh architecture lying in the shadow of the famous Edinburgh Castle. With its panoramic views over the city to the hills beyond, it is only yards from the castle gates and Edinburgh’s best known cobble stone street, the Royal Mile, situated in the heart of the Old Town. We are open 24 hours, have self-catering kitchens, internet access, free bed linen, optional breakfast and most importantly a relaxing and vibrant atmosphere! We have large areas for socializing including a bright sunny terrace where we have weekly barbeques (Edinburgh weather permitting!) and our own movie lounge. Castle Rock Hostel, like all our hostels is a short walk from all transport links and the famous MacBackpackers tours including the Jump-on Jump- bus leaves from right outside the front door when you’re ready to move on!
